Applications are now live for the second round of the HSDS Grants Programme, offering up to £25,000 to unlock innovation in heritage science and conservation research across the UK.
Ready to Transform Your Heritage Research?
Funding is made available under two themes, thanks to the generosity of UKRI through AHRC’s RICHeS initiative:
Theme 1: Generate Datasets (up to £25,000) – Enable or Enhance Access to Heritage Science and Conservation Resources.
Theme 2: Develop Virtual Research Environments (up to £15,000) – Partner with STFC Hartree Centre’s software engineering experts to develop cutting-edge digital tools.

- Funding: 100% Full Economic Cost covered
- Open to: UK universities, museums, archives, galleries, community partners, and UKRI Independent Research Organisations
