The Heritage Science Data Service (HSDS) gives you access to two easy-to-search catalogues: one providing access to an extensive collection of freely available heritage science and conservation research data and metadata records, and another helping you to discover research facilities, analytical services, and reference collections across the UK.
Together, these catalogues bring resources from HSDS and beyond into one place, making it easier to discover, access, and use data, tools, and services you need. Helpful guides are available for both catalogues, and you can watch a recorded training session below to get a quick introduction to their key features and benefits.
Data Catalogue
The HSDS Data Catalogue enables you to easily discover and access heritage science and conservation research data and metadata records through a single, intuitive platform. By bringing together resources from multiple providers, it makes finding what you need simpler and quicker. A full comprehensive guide to using the Data Catalogue is available.
Catalogue of services
The HSDS Catalogue of Services helps you to find and access heritage science and conservation research facilities and reference collections from across the UK, including highlighting services eligible for the RICHeS Access Fund. A full comprehensive guide to using the Catalogue of Services is available for both public users and service providers.
