What this agreement covers

- Make them freely available online in different formats
- Convert files to new formats as technology changes
- Share them under the access license that you choose
How the process works
- Contact us about depositing your materials
- We will discuss with you any applicable fees
- We send you the agreement electronically via email
- You read and accept by clicking the acceptance button
- We send you a copy of the agreement for your records
- We begin preservation work on your materials
Important details
Fees: Some deposits incur preservation fees. Materials will be removed if fees are not paid.
Liability: The HSDS takes reasonable care but cannot be held liable for loss or damage to materials.
Duration: The agreement lasts for the duration of copyright protection in your materials.
Access license: You choose how others can reuse your materials (we typically suggest a Creative Commons Attribution).
